The Town of Stettler contains all of the important emergency and support services to help protect and support you and your loved ones while you enjoy the BarW RV Resort and all of the surrounding area attractions.
Just a couple minutes away from BarW you’ll find:

- The Pheasantback Golf Course
- The Summer Village of Rochon Sands

BarW RV Resort borders this quaint little summer village. The Rochon Sands Harbor contains a boat dock, frisbee golf, playground and a lovely sand beach. It is about a 5 minute drive from the Park. The Rochon Sands Provincial Park is a beautiful non-serviced campground that can nicely act as camp sites for your additional friends and family’s RV’s for short term stays. It has lovely natural beaches and a playground.
The excellent Pheasantback Golf Course is located just 10 minutes from BarW!
Opened in 1995, Pheasantback has become one of Alberta’s most celebrated golf destinations. Winding around natural ponds, hills and grassy dunes, this charming design lets golfers play creatively – providing a fun and unique experience for all players.

The bustling town of Stettler has it all!
Known as the busiest town in Alberta, Stettler has all of the major amenities of a modern hub – boasting a Walmart, Canadian Tire, Peavy Mart, UFA, Boston Pizza, Tim Hortons, MacDonalds, A&W among many others.
Further, the town is a lot of fun with numerous Sports Fields, Skate Parks, Playgrounds, Parks and a top notch Recreation Centre. Stettler also holds numerous fantastic annual public events such as a fun Canada Day Celebration as well as the Music in the Park series which run throughout the summer. Just a great little town to relax and enjoy – especially on a rainy day!
Additionally, Stettler has a modern Hospital with full Medical Clinic and ambulance service. Stettler is also home to an RCMP detachment. Again, just a short 20 minute drive from the BarW RV Resort.
